B.A.S. in ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Completion of all program requirements, including a minimum of 120 semester credit hours, comprised of:
a. 36 semester credit hours as designated in the LSSC General Education requirements. (Students who enter the baccalaureate program with a completed A.A. or baccalaureate degree or with official transcripts documenting “General Education Requirements Met” from a Florida College System or State University System institution shall be considered to have satisfied LSSC’s General Education requirements.)
b. 42 semester credit hours of transferable associate degree electives, technical courses, and approved Professional Support Courses. At least 18 semester credit hours must be approved Professional Support Courses.
c. 42 semester credit hours of upper-division Organizational Management coursework.
2. Completion of all upper-division (3000-4000 level) courses with a grade of C or higher
3. Fulfill the LSSC Computer Proficiency requirement. (For the B.A.S. in Organizational Management, CGS 1100, Business Computer Applications, is the prerequisite or co-requisite for the Cornerstone course and will satisfy this requirement.)
4. Fulfill the Florida Foreign Language Competence requirement for bachelor’s degrees, even if this requires the student to exceed 120 total semester credit hours. Students may fulfill this requirement by successfully completing one of the following options:
a. Two sequential high school credits in one language
b. Two sequential college-credit courses in a foreign language or American Sign Language
c. Minimum designated College Level Examination Program (CLEP) scores in Spanish, French, or German
d. Completion of a college degree or equivalent, or a high school diploma from a foreign country where English courses were studied as a foreign language. This must be stated on the official evaluated transcript. See information regarding “Coursework from International Institutions” in the College's general Admissions Requirements. 5. Minimum of 25 percent of the total semester credit hours counted toward the baccalaureate degree must be earned from LSSC (at least 30 of the total 120 semester credit hours)
6. Minimum of 15 upper-division (3000-4000 level) semester credit hours, including the Capstone course, must be earned from LSSC.
7. Overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0, including all upper- and lower-division LSSC college-credit coursework and all transferred coursework.
8. Fulfill all financial obligations to the College before the degree will be awarded and before a diploma or transcript will be released.
