LSSC offers secure test proctoring for other schools and institutions at the LSSC Learning Centers.

• Fees - $25.00 per test
• Payable at LSSC cashier
• Originating institution or the student must pay all mailing costs in advance

Instructors: To Setup a Test

• E-mail LSSC supervisors (listed below) using distancetesting@lssc.edu to set up a test
• Include any forms from your institution, all proctoring requirements, any special instructions, and any mailing materials
• If possible, put the student name and class in the subject line
• If known, indicate where the student prefers to take the test (which campus)  

Student: To Take a Test (Student)

• Make a testing appointment by clicking on the link above. 
• Complete the Distance Test Proctoring Request Form, pay the cashier, get a receipt
• Make sure the test is here by calling (352) 365-3554 (Leesburg) or (352) 536-2206 (South Lake)
• Ask if the test has been received by the Learning Center. Indicate that you are a distance student; your test will be filed by your last name
• Allow adequate time to complete the test-verify testing hours and test length when you call
• Bring a photo ID and receipt. Proctors will not administer tests to anyone without photo ID and proof of payment
• If necessary, bring envelope, stamps, or other mailing materials for returning your completed test to your home institution
  
• Sign in (and out) on the attendance tracking computer (Accutrack)

Make-Up Testing

As a service to LSSC students and faculty, the Learning Center offers make-up testing at all campuses for students who have missed a test in any subject area.

Instructors: To Setup a Test for a Student

• Print a copy of the Testing Request Form or obtain form from the Learning Center.  Tests sent to the Learning Center without a form will not be administered.
• Complete the form including proctoring requirements, any special instructions to the student, and how you want the completed test returned to you.
• Complete one Testing Request Form for each student, for each test.
• Send the Testing Request Form, attached to a copy of the test, to the Learning Center at the proper campus.

Students: To Take a Test

• No appointment is necessary; test proctoring is available during all regular operating hours. 
• Call in advance to make sure that your test has been received in the Learning Center.  Be sure you know your instructors name.
• Allow yourself adequate time to complete the test prior to lab closing time.
• Bring a photo ID. Proctors will not administer tests to anyone without photo ID.
• Sign in on the attendance-tracking computer (Accutrack).
• Keep your copy of the completed Testing Request Form as a receipt.
