    This federally funded program provides part-time on-campus jobs for eligible LSSC students to enable them to earn part of their college expenses while gaining valuable experience.

  • New Directions
    The New Directions Program at LSSC offers referral to on-campus and community resources and limited financial assistance for qualified individuals.  Assistance is also provided for persons who are re-entering the workforce after an extended absence.   • Workforce Central Florida
    WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA offers training scholarships in the region’s top 20 in-demand occupations through area schools to customers who meet specific eligibility requirements.

    Tech Prep programs prepare students for technically demanding jobs while they are still attending high school.

  • Lake Technical Center
    Lake Tech Center offers a variety of career-technical certificate programs as well as GED preparation, academic remediation, and adult ESOL classes to help all students reach their full potential. 

  • LSCC's Business Resource Center
    Continuing Education
    The office of Continuing Education offers a variety of noncredit courses throughout the year. These courses are open to the public and are held on campus and at many convenient locations throughout Lake and Sumter Counties.

    Entrepreneur Institute
    The Entrepreneur Institute offers courses designed to help those planning and/or managing their own business. 

    Computer Institute 
    The Computer Institute offers a variety of non-credit courses on the Leesburg and South Lake College Campuses and Online with our partner Ed2Go.
