Student Referrals
Our Career Advisors support students making career-related decisions. In addition to counseling, we use career assessments such as MyPlan to help students identify career matches based on their personality, interests, skills and values. Please refer a student to Career Services when he or she lacks a career direction and cannot make a decision; has found a major of interest but is unsure of the career options associated with it, or has a career goal, but needs help putting it into action.
To refer a current or prospective student, please submit a Student Referral Form and we will contact the student via email to conduct outreach. In addition, we ask that you also encourage them to schedule a career advisement appointment in person (LE, SS-144), by phone (352) 323-3603 or via our online appointment request form (found on our homepage). A printable version of the Student Referral Form is also available.
Employer Referrals
Do you have an employer contact you would like us to follow-up with? Please contact Career Development Services at careers@lssc.edu and one of our staff members will follow up with your employer contact.
If you are made aware of a current job or co-op/internship opening, please invite your employer contact to submit their current job opening to our office through our new job posting system, College Central Network (click icon below):
