Career Development Services (CDS) provides LSSC currently enrolled students and graduated alumni one-on-one career advising and access to a multitude of services and resources. Meet with one of our Career Advisors to set your career in motion! Whether you are searching for a new career or major or know exactly what you want to pursue, CDS is here to assist you to:
Find the right major, college/university and career
Gain appropriate and professional experience that relates to your career area
Identify possible employers, build an attention-grabbing resume, hone interview skills, customize a job search plan and more
Schedule an Appointment with a Career Advisor
Career Advisors can assist LSSC current students and alumni in various areas of their career/major exploration process and/or job search. We encourage students to meet with a Career Advisor early in their academic careers to gain the knowledge that can assist them in making important career and academic decisions. Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are strongly encouraged to ensure that a Career Advisor is available to meet with you.

Non-LSSC Alumni Association Members: Have access to all the services listed above, including access to MyPlan's online career guidance system and College Central Network, our official online job search portal but are limited to
(1) in-person advisement session per year. Visit the LSSC Alumni Association to learn more about how to join. Prospective Students
Have access to (1) career/major exploration advisement appointment prior to enrollment to help in major selection as part of the application process
