This section is a hybrid section. This means that more than 50%, but less than 80% of coursework is completed through the Blackboard learning system online. The course syllabus will detail time required on campus or in proctored setting. Please see the instructor’s faculty website for a course syllabus and further information.
Students can expect to see the AMH 2010 hybrid fall syllabus posted by August 1 on my faculty website.
As this is a hybrid online course, the instructor expects students to be computer proficient and have consistent access to a computer with a high-speed (broadband: cable, DSL or satellite) connection and Microsoft Office 2010 installed. Earlier versions of Microsoft Office are unacceptable. Students can expect to see the AMH 2010 hybrid fall syllabus posted by August 1 on Mr. Rogers’ faculty website. To find his website, please go to http://www.lscc.edu/faculty/james_b_rogers/SitePages/Home.aspx. Click the link on the left of the page that says “AMH 2010.” Mr. Rogers can be reached by email at rogersb@LSCC.edu.
See my faculty website for the Syllabus and Course Calendar to see which dates we will meet. The word “ONLINE” by the date indicates a day that the class will NOT meet.
Students are expected to be able to communicate through Blackboard and an active LSCC e-mail account and access the Internet for assignments. All e-mails should include the course name and section number in the email for identification purposes.
All Final drafts of papers must be turned through Blackboard AND submitted using Turnitin.com.
