This is a fully online course and as such students should be computer proficient and have access to a computer for all assignments. On The first week of classes on Monday at 6:00PM there will be class orientation conducted online in a virtual classroom. I will send a link to this classroom in your Laker email prior to the first day of class; therefore, if you haven’t done so already, activate your Laker email account. If for any reason you cannot attend this session, you will need to view the recording later by clicking a link which will be posted on my faculty website. To access my faculty website, from the LSCC home page, select Students, Current Students, Faculty Websites. Find the Biological Science portion and click on Leibner, Chris.
Note: The virtual classroom will not operate if the version of Java on your computer is any newer than version 6. If you don’t know what version of Java your computer is using, click the Start button in the lower left, then Control Panel, Programs and Features. Scroll down the list of software that is installed on your computer until you get to Java. Verify it is the correct version. If it is not, you must uninstall it and install the proper version (http://java.com/en/download/manual_v6.jsp).
