Important Notes from the Instructor:
This is a hybrid course and therefore will not meet every day as indicated in the class schedule. Meeting dates and times will be detailed in the syllabus. The syllabus for the course will be available 30 days prior to the first day of classes on Mrs. Hogans' website, www.lscc.edu/faculty/karen_m_hogans, as well as her contact information. Email communication is expected through Laker Mail; make sure you can access your account prior to the beginning of the semester. An orientation for the course will be held the first day the class is scheduled to meet during the term. Due to the nature of this course, it is recommended that you possess the following skills: competence in the use of email, familiarity with accessing and downloading content from web sources, comfort with navigating possibly unfamiliar programs (such as Blackboard and MyMathLab*), proficient use of a word processing program and possibly a spreadsheet program, and the ability to scan and send attachments via email.
