Welcome to HSC1531 Medical Terminology I. If you are not familiar with the Lake Sumter Community College Blackboard Learning Management System, please go to http://www.lscc.edu/dl/ and complete the Blackboard (Bb) orientation. You will not have access to this course until August 20th which is the first day of the course. It would be wise to be familiar with Blackboard before you begin this on-line course. After completing the Bb orientation, proceed to the HSC1531 homepage and select Course Content. All Orientation activities are accessed through the Course Content and must be fully completed by Friday, August 24th, at midnight in order to remain in the course. Review the syllabus for the online orientation procedure and the course information. Any student who does not complete all components of the orientation session By Friday, August 24th may be administratively dropped from the class.
