Welcome to HIM1012 Medicolegal Aspects of Records. If you are not familiar with the Lake Sumter Community College Blackboard Learning Management System, please go to http://www.lscc.edu/dl/ and complete the Blackboard (Bb) orientation. It would be wise to be familiar with Blackboard before you begin this on-line course. For information about your Bb account and Syllabus, visit the LSCC homepage; select Students-Current- Faculty Websites-Health Information Management-Bakuzonis, Karen-Documents and Downloads. The first week of class, we will be having a discussion on getting to know each other and learning more about the set up of the course and expectations. Students must post a Discussion Item by Monday, January 10th at midnight, in order to remain in this course. By the second week of class, all students must have the textbook, in order to do well on the assessments. There will not be any on campus orientation.
