Dual Enrollment Information

Public High School Students

Students attending a public high school in Lake or Sumter County must contact their high school guidance office if interested in participating in dual enrollment. The high school counselor will verify that the student meets eligibility requirements outlined in the articulation agreement between Lake-Sumter Community College and the respective school district and provide the student with all necessary forms for enrollment at Lake-Sumter Community College.

Home School Students

Students who are home schooled must be registered as home school students with the school district in which they reside and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the articulation agreement between Lake-Sumter Community College and the respective school district. Private School Students

Students attending private schools in Lake or Sumter County that have articulation agreements with Lake-Sumter Community College may participate in dual enrollment provided they meet the eligibility requirements outlined in that agreement.
