A Variety of Degree Programs Offered at
Lake-Sumter Community College

LEESBURG, FL - Class schedules are available for Lake-Sumter Community College's three summer terms. Terms A and Extended A start May 6, Term B starts June 26. Open registration for all terms is April 24, May 1 and 2. New students should apply at least 48 hours in advance.

For four decades, LSCC has taken pride in that fact that it offers a quality education, that is affordable, flexible and convenient. Our three campuses in Leesburg, Clermont and Sumterville offer numerous academic programs...

LSCC's Associate in Arts degree provides a comprehensive foundation to continue toward a four year degree and guarantees acceptance into a state university. LSCC students have a tradition of graduating from four-year institutions with the highest grade point averages, as well as having the highest percentage, among all state universities and colleges, for passing the College Level Academic Skills Test on the first attempt.

Students can also earn advance degrees without leaving an LSCC campus through partnerships with UCF and St. Leo University. An Associate in Science degree prepares students for a four-year education in nursing and our new sports & fitness program, while our 2+2 program completes the first two-year requirements toward a degree in elementary education, criminal justice, early childhood education and business administration.

Lake-Sumter Community College also offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in such popular fields as: business, computer technology, criminal justice, emergency medical services, fire science, graphic design, health fields, legal assisting and theatre. These two-year degrees provide professional career training, as do our Certificate programs, Applied Technology diplomas and Dental programs.
