Olympic Gold Medallist, Dr. Dot Richardson to Speak at Lake-Sumter Community College Breakfast

Leesburg, FL - As part of Lake-Sumter Community College's Sports Leadership Series, LSCC's athletic department will welcome Dr. Dot Richardson as its next guest speaker, on May 15, at 7:30 am, in the South Lake Campus' Community Room. The South Lake orthopedic surgeon, received national fame as a member of the two-time Olympic gold-medal-winning USA softball team. The team's short stop and one of its most enthusiastic players, Dr. Richardson has earned hometown hero status for her accomplishments, and a reputation as an outstanding speaker. Tickets for the breakfast are $20, and can be reserved by calling 352-323-3645. Proceeds from the Series benefit the LSCC Athletic Scholarship Fund.
