Lake-Sumter Community College To Offer Young Writers' Camp

Leesburg, FL - Lake-Sumter Community College will offer its "Ladder to the Moon" Young Writers' Camp, starting July 22, on the Leesburg Campus. Fourth to eighth grade students will spend seven days improving their writing skills, while having a great time. The Camp is offered over a two week period, Monday through Thursday, July 22-25, then again Monday through Wednesday, July 29-31, from 8:30 am until 12:30 pm. Students will engage in writing through music, movement, nature and art, while interacting with knowledgeable instructors and other young writers. Cost for the camp is $100. With a low one-to-ten student-to-teacher ratio, class enrollment is limited, so enroll early by calling 352-365-3556.
