Lake-Sumter Community College to Host 39th Annual Commencement Ceremony

Leesburg, FL - The honor of being the 2002 Student Speaker for Lake-Sumter Community College's 39th Commencement Ceremony goes to Sarah Montaudo. She was selected from among several students who auditioned before a special graduation committee. Two hundred and seventy-seven graduates will be receiving their diplomas from Lake-Sumter Community College this Friday, May 10th, at 7 pm, in the Everett A. Kelly Convocation Center.

To commemorate LSCC's 40th Anniversary, another speaker on the program will be Library Specialist Suzanne Schaffer, a member of the College's first graduating class of 1964 and a 30-year LSCC employee. Guest Commencement Speaker will be Shannon Elswick, Vice President of Community Hospitals for Orlando Regional Healthcare.
