Lake-Sumter Community College To Sponsor Career Fair

LEESBURG - In an effort to connect employers and job seekers, Lake-Sumter Community College will once again sponsor a local Career Fair. The event is hosted by the LSCC Career Center and Women's Program, and will be held from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm, on Wednesday, April 16. Business and company representatives will be available to discuss employment opportunities. Some of the prospective employers include Lake County Government, LRMC, Home Depot, and many more. The display area will be located in the breezeway area at the Leesburg Campus, between the classroom buildings, library and student center.

The goal of the Fair is to introduce potential employers to our students and others who are interested in full and part-time employment or a cooperative education experience. The event is open to the public.

The Career Fair coincides with Spring Fling, an event aimed at celebrating the end of term and providing stress-release entertainment, music and food for the students. Come out to the Leesburg Campus and be a part of the activities at Lake-Sumter Community College. The Spring Fling is sponsored by Student Activities and the Student Government Association.
