In the News... Lake-Sumter Community College Summer Registration Continues LEESBURG - Been thinking of starting that degree, or taking some courses to enhance an existing career? You can get a great education without leaving your own community at Lake-Sumter Community College. Tuition is a fraction of those at state universities and private schools, classes are smaller and more personal, and schedules are designed for full-time and part-time students. LSCC also has an open enrollment policy, which means that any student with a high school diploma or GED has the opportunity to apply for admission. Registration for LSCC's Summer Terms continues through May 5, and students now have the convenience of registering for online at www.lscc.cc.fl.us. LSCC will be offering three terms: Summer A - starts May 6 and continues through June 24, Summer Term A Extended - May 6 through August 14, and Summer Term B - June 26 through August 13. Students can register for all three terms at this time. New students, or those who have not taken a class in over a year, will need to apply in person on any LSCC campus. Those needing assistance in registering can visit the campus Admissions offices, Mondays through Fridays, from 8 am until 4:30 pm. Summer Schedules are available on LSCCs website, and at all Lake and Sumter County Winn Dixie stores, Clermont's Kash 'n Karry, city chambers of commerce and libraries, Lake-Square Mall (kiosk near theaters) and all LSCC campuses.
