In the News... Lake-Sumter Community College Offering January Computer Classes Leesburg - If you got a new computer for the holidays, here is the perfect opportunity to learn how to use it. Lake-Sumter Community College's Computer Institute will be offering Beginning Guide to Computers I, on Tuesdays, January 14 through February 11, from 9:30 am-12:30 pm. Level II will be offered on Wednesdays, January 15 through February 12, from 12 noon until 3 pm. Each course costs $51. Those wishing to learn Word, can enroll for the Level 1 Saturday course to be held on January 11 and 18, from 9 am until 12 noon, at a cost of $31. These three classes will meet on the Leesburg Campus. New this spring is LSCCs computer courses at the Agricultural Center in Tavares. The Wednesday classes will meet January 15 through 29. E-mail Communication, I, will be offered from 3-5 pm, and Using the Internet, I, from 1-3 pm. Cost of each course is $31. To register, call LSCCs Computer Institute at 365-3530.
