Security Officer Training at Lake-Sumter Community College

LEESBURG - Two Security Officer Training classes will be offered on Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Leesburg Campus. The Class D License course will be held Mondays through Thursdays, from June 30 until July 15, from 6 to 10 pm. These ten four-hour classes are designed and approved by the Florida Department of State, Division of Licensing and meet the requirement of Florida Statute 493, requiring 40 hours of professional training. Cost of this course is $106.

The 16-hour continuation course is for those needing to complete the additional requirements for renewing their license. This class starts Wednesday, July 9 and continues the following Thursday, Monday and Tuesday, through July 15, from 6 until 9 pm. The cost of these four four-hour sessions is $43.
