New Students Need to Start Application Process Now For Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Fall Term

LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges next term starts August 25th. If you are a recent high school grad, want to train for a career change, or return to school after raising a family, now is the time to start the enrollment process for fall classes. Earlier online registration and increases in enrollment, make it more important than ever to apply early. New students need to follow the recommended time-line in order to get the desired class schedule.

Apply for financial aid now...visit any of the three campus Financial Aid offices to fill out the required applications. It can take weeks to acquire financial help, so it must be done early.

• Apply for Admission by July 15
• Pay Fees (depending on when you register) by July 28
• Take Placement Test by August 4
• Complete Student Orientation by August 14
• Meet with an Academic Advisor by August 14
• Register now through August 20
