Lake-Sumter Community College and SCOREs Small Business Series Starts March 27

LEESBURG - New and existing business owners will have the opportunity to share the expertise of seasoned business professionals when Lake-Sumter Community College teams with SCORE (Senior Corps of Retired Executives) to offer its popular Small Business Series. For the first time, the five-part Series will be offered on LSCCs South Lake Campus. Classes will meet on consecutive Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 until 8 pm, starting March 27 and continuing through April 10. The cost of each session is $11. The entire five-session Series is $36, a $19 savings. To understand how all aspects of management come together in a business plan, attendance at the full series is recommended.

• April 1 - Marketing
• April 3 - Taxes and Insurance
• April 8 - Finding the Money
• April 10 - The Business Plan

SCORE, is a nationwide volunteer organization of retired and active business people serving the needs of America's small businesses. SCORE partners with LSCCs Continuing Education office to offer this Series as a community service to Lake and Sumter County residents.
