Lake-Sumter Community College's Sumter Campus to Offer Technology Class for Educators

LEESBURG - Experienced teachers and education majors alike can learn to integrate the latest technology into their teaching during Lake-Sumter Community College's "Technology for Educators." Offered Mondays through Thursdays, June 2 through 12, from 8 am until 3:30 pm, the Sumter Campus "mini-semester" course demonstrates the use of multimedia in the classroom. It will also cover various instructional software used in teaching and learning, as well as the utilization of this technology for various subject areas. Ethical, legal and social issues related to the use of technology will also be discussed. The three-hour credit course does require basic computer skills.
