Registration Continues for Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Summer B Term

LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Summer B Term is a perfect way to pick some credit hours for an Associate degree or certificates. Though the term last less than seven weeks (June 26 through August 13), a variety of courses in such disciplines as: math, English, humanities, biological sciences, computer science, and nursing will be offered on LSCCs Leesburg and South Lake Campuses.

One-credit, mini-semester courses that meet only one day a week for five weeks include: Electronic Writing, to be offered on the Leesburg, South Lake and Sumter Campuses; MS Excel, Level II, at the Leesburg and South Lake locations; and Computer Basics at the South Lake Campus.

Students can register online. You can also find the Summer Schedule on the website, or pick one up at any Winn Dixie Store, or LSCC Campus. New students, or those who have not taken a class in over a year, need to apply in-person at least 48 hours prior to registering. For more information call 323-3665.
