Lake-Sumter Community College and SCORE To Offer a Workshop for Starting a New Business

LEESBURG - It is important when beginning any entrepreneurial endeavor to be armed with as much practical information as possible. With this in mind, Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Continuing Education office and SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) will offer a three-hour Pre-Business Workshop on April 28. Held on LSCCs Leesburg Campus, from 6 until 9 pm, the workshop will be an overview of the steps necessary to start a successful small business. Topics will include: Is This (starting a business) Right for You?, Legal and Tax Issues, Preparing a Marketing Plan, Preparing a Financial Plan, and Preparing a Business Plan.
