Lake-Sumter Community College Trustee Moving to Colorado
LEESBURG - Jeffrey Miller, a member of the Lake-Sumter Community College District Board of Trustees, regretfully submitted his resignation to the colleges governing body effective May 1, because he is assuming a new position as a superintendent of schools in Colorado. Millers expertise in education warranted his July 2002 trustee appointment by Governor Jeb Bush. He is one of four members representing Sumter County. It has been both a privilege and an honor to serve on LSCCs Board and to be given an opportunity to positively impact the learning environment of our community college students, stated Miller. I have enjoyed working with the faculty and staff on issues critical to the success of our college and I am grateful for their assistance in accomplishing our goals during the last two years.
