Lake-Sumter Community College's Academic Honorary Welcomes New Members

Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Rho Eta chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for community colleges, inducted eighteen new members during its spring ceremony.LEEBURG - Eighteen students were inducted into Lake-Sumter Community College's chapter of Phi Theta Kappa on April 13. Phi Theta Kappa is the international honor society for community colleges. Twice a year, students who have completed a minimum of fifteen credit hours and have earned a 3.5 grade point average or above are invited for membership due to their high academic achievement.

Spring 2004 inductees recognized during a candle-lighting ceremony before an audience of parents, friends and LSCC faculty and staff were (alphabetical): Maria Alvarado, Jacqueline Bell, Joshua Blake, Amanda Francis, Anne Gercken, Elizabeth Haynes, Kelly Livorsi, Hilda Lozano, Dawn McMahon, Whitney Mielke, Florence Miller, Kelsea Morse, Dorothea, Norman, Kimberly Paquette, Audry Richardson, Crystal Suggs, Delrose Tobie and Tera Townsend.
