Lake-Sumter Community College Computer Courses Continue through May

LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Microsoft Office Specialist certification series is a comprehensive performance-based certification program approved by Microsoft to validate desktop skills in MS Office, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook. To earn Office Specialist certification, candidates must pass one or more exams. LSCCs four 15-hour Leesburg Campus MOS training courses will help prepare students for these required exams. The first of the series will be Word Core: MOS Certification offered on Mondays, May 10 through June 14, from 6 until 9 pm. Cost of the course is $187.

Outlook, Level 1, on Thursdays, May 13 & 20, 6-9 pm, $75;

Publisher, Level 1, on Tuesdays, May 18 & 25, 6-9 pm, $48;
QuickBooks, Level 1, Tuesdays, May 18-June 15, 6-9 pm $75;
Word, Level 1, on Thursdays, May 20 & 27, 6-9 pm, $75; and
Word, Mail Merge on Tuesday, May 11, 6-9 pm, $36.
