Lake-Sumter Community College Presents Dancing Unto God

LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Equity and Diversity Committee will present the Dancing Unto God Dance Troupe on Sunday, February 29 at 4 pm. The free event will be held in the Leesburg Campus Paul P. Williams Fine Arts Center Auditorium. Doors open at 3:30 pm.

The ballet-influenced spiritual praise troupe will perform a program that relates dance to African American historical events. The troupe delighted audiences during their LSCC appearance last year, and has become well-known throughout Central Florida. They have garnered reviews such as, The performance was emotional, therapeutic and phenomenal, all in the same breath. A tremendous tribute in dance. The Troupe is under the direction of prima ballerina Jeanette Gray, a member of the American Dance Association, who has performed in the City of Orlando Mayors Council Martin Luther King Holiday Commission closing ceremonies.
