Learn About the Worlds Religions during Lake-Sumter Community Colleges South Lake Campus Course

LEESBURG - Understanding various religious beliefs can help one understand the behavior of persons and groups in our world. Worlds Religions, A Brief Introduction will acquaint students with the three monotheistic religions that developed in the Middle East, introduce concepts from the religious traditions of India and China, consider causes and definitions of religion, and briefly touch on religious fundamentalism in the world today. The three classes of this non-credit course will be offered on Thursdays, March 18 through April 1, from 3:00 pm until 5:30 pm. Cost is $45
