Great Movies and Languages To Be Subjects of Lake-Sumter Community College Non-Credit Courses LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Leesburg Campus will be offering two levels of Conversational Spanish on Thursdays, starting January 15 and continuing through March 4. Beginning, Level 1, which teaches first-time students the way to carry on simple, useful, everyday conversations will be held from 5 until 6:45 pm. Level 2, which takes students with some familiarity to the next level and refreshes current language skills, will be offered from 7-8:45 pm. Fees for each course are $56. LSCCs Wednesday evening Sign Language course will teach the basics of communicating with your hands. Classes begin January 14 and continue through March 3, from 6 until 8 pm. Cost is $56. Nurses completing any of these three language courses will be awarded 16 contact hours. Take a walk down memory lane with some of the greatest movies of all times. LSCCs Films, Films, Films series will look at excerpts from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Relive your fondest memories and hear the fascinating stories behind these cinema classics on Wednesdays, January 14 though February 4, from 5 until 7 pm. Cost of the series is $48.
