Lake-Sumter Community College to Host Regional Meeting of Math Instructors

LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges South Lake Campus has been chosen as the site of the annual meeting of the Central Florida Region Mathematical Association of America on January 16. Starting at 12 noon, the days agenda includes two featured speakers. James Lang, of Valencia Community College, will open the conference with Euler's Formula, while Dr. Lee Armstrong, of UCF, will make the final presentation Reflections on 40 Years of Teaching Math. There will also be eight break-out sessions covering a variety of topics. Subjects and facilitators are:
