Lake-Sumter Community College Class Looks at What Makes Us Laugh LEESBURG - Those of inquisitive minds and a good senses of humor are encouraged to enroll in Lake-Sumter Community Colleges The Nature of Comedy course in January. This six-week series will investigate the nature of comedy by observing the devices of humor, moving from the lowest form of comedy through the areas of physical mishaps, plot devices and verbal wit to the highest forms of comedy, satire and irony. The class will meet on LSCCs South Lake Campus on Tuesdays, starting January 27 and continue through March 2, from 2 until 4 pm. Cost of the series is $64.
