Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Classes Can Improve Your Computer Skills

LEESBURG - Regardless of your computer expertise, Lake-Sumter Community College has a class for you. Non-credit courses, offered through the colleges Computer Institute, cover everything from basic equipment operation, to desktop publishing using graphics, digital cameras and scanners, to document and spreadsheet preparation.

February/early March classes on the Leesburg Campus include:

• Computers for Beginners (no experience required)
    Thursdays, March 4-25, 9 am-2 noon. Cost is $48.
• Beginners Guide to Computers, Level 1
    Tuesdays, February 17-March 23, 1-4 pm. Cost is $63.
• Excel, Level 1
    Thursdays, February 12 & 19, 6:30-9:30 pm. Cost is $36.
• Photoshop, Level 1
    Wednesdays, February 18-March 3, 1-4 pm. Cost is $75.
• Publisher, Level 1
    Mondays, February 16-March 1, 1-4 pm. Cost is $48.
• Word, Level 1
    Thursdays, February 26 & March 4, 6:30-9:30 pm. Cost is $36.

Sumter Campus classes include:

• Digital Cameras, Scanners and Graphics
    Tuesdays, February 17-March 2, 1:30-4:30 pm. Cost is $48.
• Web Page Creation
    Thursdays, February 3 & 10, 1:30-4:30 pm. Cost is $36.

South Lake Campus courses are:

• Computers for Beginners (no experience required)
    Mondays, March 1-22, 9 am-2 noon. Cost is $48.

    Wednesdays, February 18-March 3, 9 am-12 noon. Cost is $48.
• Word, Level 1
    Friday, February 13, 9 am-4 pm. Cost is $36.
