Movies, Memoirs and Medical Advice Offered during Lake-Sumter Community College Non-Credit Courses LEESBURG - Great Movie Musicals will be the entertaining topic of Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Continuing Education Films, Films, Films series. The class will meet on Wednesdays, February 11 through March 3. The next retrospect will be Romance and Hollywood from the 40s to Now. Both courses will meet from 5 until 7 pm, at a cost of $48 each. Review great techniques for documenting your experiences during Journaling and Memoir Development. Learn to write lively and vivid essays that you and family will enjoy for years to come. The course meets on Thursdays, starting February 5 and continuing through March 4, from 2 until 4 pm. Cost is $49. LSCCs popular Peoples Medical School features informative seminars by medical professionals and physicians offering insight into various health care issues. The series starts on February 5 and continues each Thursday through March 4, from 3 until 5 pm. Each afternoon will cover two topics, so you can select to attend all or part of the series for only $21. Call the Continuing Education office for topics. Watercolor Painting will prove that anyone can learn to produce professional quality paintings by using a few simple-to-understand design principles. This two-day workshop will meet on Thursday, February 19 and Saturday, February 21, from 9 am until 4 pm. Cost of the course is $96. Women will review their overall financial health and well being during Women and Money. This class will meet on Mondays, starting February 9 and continue through February 23, from 9-11 am.
