Just a Few Days Left to Register for Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Summer B Term LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Summer B Term is a perfect way for recent high school graduates to jump-start their college career. In less than seven weeks (June 28 through August 12) students can pick up from two to four credit hours per course. A variety of disciplines such as: art history, biological sciences, economics, education, English, health information management, humanities, mathematics, microcomputer applications, nursing theory, office administration, psychology and Spanish will be offered on LSCCs Leesburg and South Lake campuses. Composition: Argumentation and Composition: Literature will be taught on the Sumter Campus. Late registration will be available June 24 through 27. A $30 late fee will be applied. You can register and pay online at www.lscc.edu. New students need to apply in person at least 48 hours prior to registering. LSCCs Leesburg, South Lake and Sumter campuses are open, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8 am until 5 pm. LSCCs fall classes start August 23. Students planning to apply for financial aid need to do so now, since it can take weeks to obtain state and federal funding. Fall Schedules are available at all three campuses and online. Open registration starts July 26, so now is also a good time for new students or those who have not taken a class in over a year to complete the enrollment process.
