New Students Need to Get Ready for Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Fall Term

LEESBURG - Whether you just received your high school diploma, want to make a career change, or return to school after raising a family, new students need to plan ahead if they are going to enroll in Lake-Sumter Community Colleges fall classes. Earlier online registration and increases in enrollment, make it more important than ever to start the application process early, in order to get the class schedule you want.

New students interested in applying for financial aid need to do so now. Visit any of the three campus Financial Aid offices to fill out required applications. It can take weeks to acquire financial help, so it must be done early. Other Priority Dates have been established to assure new students of a successful registration process.

• Apply for Admission by July 1
• Take Placement Test by July 12
• Complete Student Orientation by July 19
• Meet with an Academic Advisor by August 3
• Register for Classes July 26 through August 3
• Pay Fees (depending on when you register) by August 16

Fall term stars August 23 and continues through December 9. Fall Schedules are available online at www.lscc.edu, or at any LSCC campus. For more information and assistance call 323-3665.
