In the News... Apply Now for Financial Aid for Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Fall Term LEESBURG - Dont think you can afford a college education? Lake-Sumter Community Colleges tuition is much less than that of state universities and a fraction of the cost of attending private schools. There are also many financial aid opportunities available, and LSCCs staff can help students find the means to enroll in fall term classes. Now is the time to start this financial aid process however. It can take weeks to finalize federal and state applications, and with earlier online registration and increases in enrollment, students need to plan ahead to get the class schedules they want. LSCCs fall term open registration starts July 26. Fall term starts August 23 and continues through December 9. Visit any of the colleges three campuses to learn about the many financial aid options that are available, call 323-3665, or visit LSCCs website at: www.lscc.edu and quick link to financial aid. Now is also the time for new students, or those who have not taken an LSCC class in over a year, to apply for admission. Placement testing, student orientation, and meeting with an academic advisor are all required before the registration process can begin.
