Learn the Facts about Estate Planning during Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Sumter Campus Non-credit Courses LEESBURG - Learn the basics of wills, trusts, living wills, estate and gift tax, probate, elder law, guardianship laws and proper titling of assets during the Lake-Sumter Community College Continuing Education Estate Planning class. This non-credit course will also teach you the proper way to designate beneficiaries for life insurance, IRAs and 401K plans, as well as cover issues in planning for the disposition of estates and the protection of assets during your lifetime. This Sumter Campus course will be held on Thursdays, starting March 25 and continue through April 29. It will meet from 4 until 6 pm, at a cost of $57. Do you have one of those mellow or unique voices used to pitch products on radio and television? The field of professional voice work can be exciting, fun and lucrative. The two-hour Voice Over As A Profession is an introductory class that will explore the aspects of voice-over work for TV, radio film and multi-media. Learn to prepare a demo and how to bypass the competition. The class will meet Monday, March 15, from 4:30 until 6:30 pm. Cost is $29. Create your own webpage and learn to work with links, tables, graphics and animation during FrontPage, Level 1. The class meets on two Tuesdays, March 16 and 23, from 1:30 until 4:30 pm. Cost is $36. Understanding various religious beliefs can help one understand the behavior of persons and groups in our world. Worlds Religions, A Brief Introduction will acquaint students with the three monotheistic religions that developed in the Middle East, introduce concepts from the religious traditions of India and China, consider causes and definitions of religion, and briefly touch on religious fundamentalism in the world today. The three classes of this non-credit course will be offered on Saturdays, March 20 through April 3, from 9:30 am until 12 noon. Cost is $45.
