Lake-Sumter Community College Summer B Term Classes Start June 28

LEESBURG - In less than seven weeks (June 28 through August 12) students can pick up from two to four credit hours per course. A variety of disciplines such as: art history, biological sciences, economics, education, English, health information management, humanities, mathematics, microcomputer applications, nursing theory, office administration, psychology and Spanish will be offered on LSCCs Leesburg and South Lake campuses. Composition: Argumentation and Composition: Literature will be taught on the Sumter Campus. You can register and pay online at www.lscc.edu. New students need to apply in person at least 48 hours prior to registering. LSCCs Leesburg, South Lake and Sumter campuses are open, Mondays through Thursdays, from 8 am until 5 pm.

Its not too early to think about LSCCs fall classes either. Students planning to apply for financial aid need to do so now, since it can take weeks to obtain state and federal funding. LSCCs fall term starts August 23, with open registration starting the end of July. Earlier online registration and increased enrollment make it necessary to begin the enrollment process early in order to secure the desired class schedule.
