LEESBURG - A unique art exhibit co-sponsored by Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Equity & Diversity Committee and SunriseARC will be on display staring this Friday, February 25 and continuing through March 11. The public is invited to an opening night reception this Friday (Feb. 25) from 6 until 8 pm in LSCCs South Lake Campus Community Room, where they will have the opportunity to meet some of the exhibits contributors.SunriseART provides art education and art activities for people with developmental disabilities. The exhibits participants have explored the world of art and artists by learning about the color wheel, the elements and principles of art such as color, form, line, shape, space and texture, as well as various art mediums that include painting, drawing and sculpture.
