In the News... Lake-Sumter Community College to Present Macbeth LEESBURG -
The Lake-Sumter Community College Theatre Arts Societys production of William
Shakespeares Macbeth will be performed March 3 though 5 and again March 8
through 11 at 7:30 pm, with a 2:30 pm matinee on Sunday, March 6. Tickets are
available at the door in the Paul P. Williams Fine Arts Center Auditorium on
LSCCs Leesburg Campus. Admission for adults is $6.00, seniors $5.00, and
children, under 12, $3. LSCC students are free. Directed by theatre instructor
Gary Rogers, the role of Macbeth will be played alternately by Justin Vanden
Heuvel and Scott Arnold, while Chelsea Stokes and Sara Unsworth share the Lady
Macbeth casting. The production features a large cast of actors, many playing
multiple characters, as well as dramatic battle sequences. In fact, Rogers
brought in professional stunt man and fight director Tim Bell to choreograph the
fight scenes. Greg Cumbaa is set and lighting designer, and Maria Stefanovic
