Lake-Sumter Community College's South Lake Campus To Offer Security Officer Training Course

LEESBURG-Florida requires that all security personnel applicants have 40 hours of professional training in order to obtain their Class D license. Lake-Sumter Community College's South Lake Campus, in Clermont, will offer ten, four-hour sessions which will meet this requirement. Security officer training classes will meet Monday through Friday, January 31 through February 4, from 8 am until 5 pm. Designed and approved by the Florida Department of State, Division of Licensing, the course costs $106. To enroll call LSCC's Corporate and Community Services at 365-3556.
