Lake-Sumter Community College to Host Popular Peoples Medical School LEESBURG - Ten informative seminars, offering insight into health care issues, will be presented by physicians and medical professionals during Lake-Sumter Community Colleges annual Peoples Medical School. The five-part series will start on October 7 and continue on consecutive Thursdays through November 4, from 3 until 5 pm, on the Leesburg Campus. Two one-hour topics will be covered each day. Cost of the entire series is only $26. Co-sponsored by Life Stream Behavioral Center, classes will be in an informal setting, consisting of lectures, questions and answer sessions, audiovisuals and handouts. Students who complete the five-week series will be more knowledgeable and better able to respond to upcoming challenges in the healthcare of tomorrow.
