Lake-Sumter Community Colleges South Lake Campus to Host Popular Peoples Medical School LEESBURG - Twelve informative seminars, offering insight into health care issues, will be presented by physicians and medical professionals during Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Peoples Medical School. The six-part series will start on November 9 and continue on consecutive Tuesdays through December 14, from 4 until 6 pm, on the South Lake Campus in Clermont. Two one-hour topics will be covered each day. Cost of the entire series is only $26. Co-sponsored by Life Stream Behavioral Center, classes will be in an informal setting, consisting of lectures, questions and answer sessions, audiovisuals and handouts. Students who complete the six-week series will be more knowledgeable and better able to respond to upcoming challenges in the healthcare of tomorrow.
