Civil War History Buffs Will Enjoy Lake-Sumter Community Colleges South Lake Campus Class

LEESBURG - Feb. 4, 2006 - Follow the battles and leaders of the Civil War during Lake-Sumter Community Colleges History of the Civil War course. The South Lake Campus non-credit classes will be offered on Wednesdays for five weeks, starting February 8 and continuing through March 8, from 7 until 8:50 p.m. Civil War historian Fred Wettering, who is also a 36-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency, will lead discussions on the periods major land and sea battles, campaigns, strategies and leaders of the war.
