Lake-Sumter Community College’s Summer Term B Offers A Variety of Seven-week Courses

LEESBURG (June 13, 2006) - Biology, algebra, business, composition, U.S. history, literature, psychology, Spanish, acting and microcomputer applications are just some of the subjects offered during Lake-Sumter Community College’s Summer B Term which starts June 28. In just seven weeks (through August 16), students can pick up that required course, earn some extra credits or get an early start their college career. Register online now at www.lscc.edu. Classes will be held on LSCC’s Leesburg, South Lake and Sumter campuses, but subjects do vary, so please visit LSCC’s website for the Summer B schedule of classes. New students, or those who have not taken a class in over a year, do need to apply in-person, however, at least 48 hours prior to registering.

It is not too early to think about Fall Term classes which start August 24. Students interested in financial aid options, need to visit any LSCC campus and speak with a member of the financial assistance office staff now. The application process requires several steps. Advising, orientation and sometime testing are required before a student can register. Open registration starts on July 24 and it is always best to register online early for the best choice of classes.
