Earn College Credits in Just Seven Weeks during Lake-Sumter Community
Colleges Final Summer Term
LEESBURG - Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Summer B Term is a perfect way for
recent high school graduates to jump-start their college careers or for current
college student to pick-up that required course or earn some extra credits.
Though the term last only seven weeks (June 28 through August 16), a variety of
courses are offered such as: acting, algebra, biology, business, chemistry,
cinema, composition, directing, economics, humanities, literature, medical
office management, microcomputer applications, philosophy, psychology, reading,
Spanish, speech, speed reading, word processing, U.S. history and world
religions. Classes will be held on LSCCs Leesburg, South Lake and Sumter
campuses, but subjects do vary, so please visit the college website at
www.lscc.edu, to see the summer class
schedule. Students can register online now. New students, or those who have not
taken a class in over a year, do need to apply in-person, however, at least 48
