Lake and Sumter Counties Business Assistance Center
Welcomes New Manager
LEESBURG - Gary Holstein has been selected as the manager of the Business
Assistance Center (BAC), located on Lake-Sumter Community Colleges Leesburg
Campus.

A knowledgeable business consultant, Holstein brings a wealth of experience to
the position. He has designed, implemented and facilitated training programs for
such diverse functional groups as information technology, sales, marketing and
senior level management. Equally adept with groups or individuals, from large
corporations to small organizations, he has been a senior trainer throughout the
United States, Europe and the Pacific Basin. Adding to his expertise in areas
such as: customer service, strategic planning, organizational design,
relationship building and team development is the fact that he has himself
managed and owned small businesses.
The Business Assistance Center, created through a partnership between
Lake-Sumter Community College, the Lake County Board of Commissioners, the
Sumter County Industrial Development Authority and the Sumter County Board of
Commissioners, provides services and resources to help new and existing
businesses throughout Lake and Sumter counties.
A nine-year Mount Dora resident, Holstein says he is looking forward to managing
an organization that helps people meet or exceed their goals. He invites the
