Real Estate - Pre-Licensing For Salespersons
Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, October 3-November 7, 6-10 p.m.
Designed to meet the requirements of the Florida Real Estate Commission for Principles and Practices of Real Estate I, this course includes basic real estate information, together with the areas of real estate law that are included on the Florida Real Estate examination for salespersons. Cost is $369.

Domestic Violence
Thursday, October 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
What do abused persons look like and how would you know when it is abuse? Learn what
to do and what to say to help these individuals. The failure to identify and help abusers and victims hurts our attempt to diminish and prevent this serious and widespread problem. Nurses can earn two contact hours. Cost is $21.

Home Health Aide
October 14-22; Fridays, 5:30- 9:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
This 20-hour course is required for certified nursing assistants who wish to work as home health aides. Cost is $70.

Security Officer Training - 40 Hour
Consecutive Weekdays, December 1-14, 6-10 p.m.
As of July 1, 1989, Florida Statute 493 requires 40 hours of professional training for all Class D license security personnel applicants. This course is designed and approved by the Florida Department of State, Division of Licensing to meet this requirement. Cost is $151.

Security Officer Training- 16 Hour
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, December 9-14, 6-10:00 p.m.
Effective October 1, 1994, the minimum number of classroom hours required for Class D Security Officer license increased to 40. This course is for those who have only 24 hours and need to complete the additional 16 hours required for renewing their license. Cost is $62.
