Lake-Sumter Community College To Host College Night
LEESBURG - College-bound students and their families will have the opportunity
to learn about Lake-Sumter Community College and other colleges and universities
during LSCCs annual College Night on Wednesday, September 28, from 6:30 until
8:30 p.m. The popular event will be held in the Leesburg Campus Everett A.
Kelly Convocation Center and will have over 40 representatives with information
from state and national colleges and universities who can personally speak with
attendees about their schools, academic programs and enrollment requirements.
Some of the institutions attending include: University of Central Florida,
Florida State University, University of Florida, University of South Florida,
St. Leo University, Stetson University, Air Force Academy, Clemson and many
more. A complete list of participating schools can be found on LSCCs website at
www.lscc.edu.
Lake-Sumter Community College staff will also present an explanatory 30-minute
program at three different times throughout the evening. Valuable information,
not only about LSCC, but community colleges in general, will include everything
from curriculum, to the admission and registration process, to financial aid.
These programs will be held in the Convocation Centers Magnolia Room at 6 pm,
6:45 pm and 7:30 pm. All activities are free. For additional information call:
